Our Story
In 2015, I brought home a baby Senegal parrot named Sky. From the very first day, Sky became part of my family. He was affectionate, intelligent, and full of personality performing tricks, making us laugh, and filling our home with warmth. A year later, one afternoon, during flight training, Sky disappeared. What began as a moment of freedom turned into heartbreak. I spent months posting flyers, searching neighborhoods, and calling out his name. Day after day, my hope faded. Eventually, I had to face the painful truth, Sky was gone. The loss left a lasting mark. Though my love for parrots never diminished, I couldn’t bring myself to bring another bird into my life. Sky was irreplaceable, and the fear of losing another companion was too heavy to bear. Nearly ten years later, I have welcomed a baby African Grey parrot named Nio. I was inspired to find a way to protect him, this time, I knew I needed something that didn’t exist when I had Sky, a way to give a bird the freedom to fly while giving me peace of mind. That realization gave birth to NioTrak. NioTrak isn’t just a GPS tracker, it’s a promise born out of loss and love. It’s designed by a bird owner, for bird owners, to protect the precious bond we share with our feathered family. Every detail lightweight design, real-time GPS, safe harnesses exist because of one truth I learned the hard way, Every Flight Matters.
Today, NioTrak is more than just a product. It’s a tribute to Sky, and a commitment to bird lovers everywhere to ensure that freedom and safety can soar together.
